Sarah Knight is a mezzo-soprano who is known for having a unique color and vibrantly full sound. A trained actor, Sarah has been praised for her authenticity and convincing portrayal of characters on stage. Sarah has enjoyed performing a variety of roles in full productions and scenes in both classical and musical theater including; Prinz Orlofsky from Strauss’ Die Fledermaus, Carmen from Bizet’s Carmen, Jezibabo from Dvořák’s Rusalka, Hermia from Britten's A midsummer night's dream, and Ruth from Gilbert and Sullivan's The Pirates of Penzance. Sarah studied with the Utah Vocal Arts Academy where she performed roles from The Barber of Seville, Cosi fan tutte, and The Magic Flute. As a student of Dr. Melissa Glenn, Sarah earned her Bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance from Brigham Young University – Hawaii, and is currently continuing her training with Dr. Jennifer Youngs as a graduate student at Brigham Young University.


When Sarah isn’t singing or preparing for her next role, she enjoys swimming and playing with her puppy. A dedicated and effective teacher, Sarah finds great joy in watching her voice students grow and find their own passion for music. As a graduate student, Sarah teaches voice at Brigham Young University and also runs a private studio from her home.
